Mani Ratnam’s Kadal, the next big thing in the K-town, is expected to hit the screens in February. With the release nearing, the rights are being bought by various companies. That said, the newest development is that the satellite rights have fallen into the hands of Vijay TV.
 

Another specialty in this transaction is that the Mani Ratnam film is just a part of the package. The Channel has bought the rights of Kadal and Thuppakki together. With Gemini Film Circuit being the producers of both the films, the two have been sold in a single transaction.
