The long awaited of Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi’s theatrical trailer was released on net yesterday evening to a roaring welcome from the netizens. The film and its composer, Anirudh started trending in India just few minutes after the release.

The trailer has its share of comedy contributed equally by the all actors, Shiva, Priya Anand, Santhanam, Oorvasi and others. Santhanam has asusual grabbed the attention with his new bunch of witty one-liners, and looks like Shiva has come out of his template, to do a subtle boy next door role.

Wishes poured in for the team from various stars too. One of them, Actor Siddharth posted, “Loved the theatrical trailer of 'Vanakkam Chennai'. Clean, colourful, youthful. Congrats to the whole team! Looking good guys.”

Meanwhile, the producer of the film, Udhayanidhi Stalin conveyed his gratitude to his team for making a perfect first impression. He tweeted, “Super response for the #VanakkamChennai trailer! Thanks 2 all! All credits to Kiruthiga, Anirudh, actor Shiva, PriyaAnand , Santhanam, Richard M Nathan (cinematographer) and the whole team!”

He also announced, “Chicken song will come out in a few days! Will announce the release date soon!”
