Karthik Subbaraj who shot to fame with his debut hit film Pizza is working with Siddarth in the lead for his next film which will supposedly be based in Madurai. The unit was in the hunt for a suitable heroine and seemed to have stopped their search at the doorstep of Lakshmi Menon.

Lakshmi Menon is being seen as sort of a lucky charm as both her films Kumki and Sundarapandian have achieved super-hit status by running for 100 days. The young actress confirms that she has been approached by the team and has readily accepted the offer since it was a Karthik Subbaraj movie. Lakshmi Menon says that she has no idea about her character but trusts Karthik Subbaraj entirely to come up with something special.
