The return of the Sundarapandian couple, Sasikumar – Lakshmi Menon, in Muthaiah’s Kutti Puli was expected to come out on May 17^th but its release has reportedly been rescheduled to the month of June, according to industry sources.

It does remain unclear however, if this has prompted UTV Films Theeya Velai Seiyannum Kumaru (TVSK) to reassess its originally intended release date in June. TVSK will be presented before the censors in a couple of weeks from now and the unit may well consider the option of getting the film out before the end of this month.

Sasi’s 555, which Bharath is pinning his hopes on big time, is also targeting a May release. Sources within its team say that the film will be coming out on 24^th May but an official word is awaited on the same. This Friday, the 10^th of May, will host the 50^th directorial effort of Manivannan as he presents his sequel to the superhit Amaidhi Padai, Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA, which incidentally also happens to be Sathyaraj’s 200^th film. Following it, Alphonse Putheran's Neram and Saradha Ramanathan's Puthiya Thiruppangal will hit the big screens on 17th May.
