'Did films out of sympathy' - Shakthi

Popular director P.Vasu’s son, Shakthi, entered the industry amidst reasonable expectations. After a fair outing with his debut Thottal Poo Malarum, the young actor seemed to find it hard to gain a strong foothold in the industry. Shakthi admits to have done films out of sympathy for a few directors who were literally at the end of the rope then.
Post marriage Shakthi seems to have shed his insecurities thanks to his better half. He is extremely proud of his upcoming film Padam Pesum and believes that the film will break new grounds in Tamil cinema. The project is directed by Raghavan and only about 10 percent of the shooting remains to be completed.
