Known for his blunt comments and satire, Manivannan, has yet again made an interesting observation about the present day actors. According to the veteran, who is presently directing his 50^th film, Nagaraja Cholan MA MLA, the present day actors care more about their remuneration and never appreciate the people, who are the real reason behind successful films. “All they want is to become the Chief Minister of the state,” adds Manivannan about such actors.   

But Manivannan also has noticed few honest artistes in today’s industry. “Ajith isn’t like that. He has even dissolved his own fan clubs. In my opinion he, Suriya and Vikram are the epitomes of honesty,” summed up Manivannan.
