From Raja Rani to Anjalai ...

Dilip Subbarayan, the popular stunt choreographer has made his ‘action’ speak for himself in films like Aaranya Kandam. His latest films include Raja Rani and the upcoming Naiyaandi and Vanakkam Chennai.

However, he is planning on trying something different in the industry now. The prolific son of Super Subbarayan is going to turn into a producer with Anjalai with his home banner Farmer’s Masterplan Productions. This film will be directed by a newcomer Thangam Saravanan who is trained under S J Suryah and the cast includes Vemal, Nanditha and Pasupathi. Camera will be handled by Ravi Kannan, editing by Praveen-Srikanth and music by Gopi Sundar. Interestingly Dilip’s dad Super Subbarayan will handle the action segments of Anjalai. 

When questioned about why he chose a newcomer as the director, Dilip says, “I liked the script of Thangam Saravanan.”. He further adds that “Anjalai will be full-fledged comedy suitable for all the age groups of audience”.

Anjalai went on floors on October 6^th near Madurai where a township like set has been erected.
