Desingu Raja is Vemal's best till date !!!
Aug 26, 2013The Vemal - Bindu Madhavi starrer, Desingu Raja, opened this past Friday and all the reviews have been unanimous in declaring that the movie has some funny moments to offer. The distributors of the movie, Escape Artists Motion Pictures are gleeful about the opening weekend's performance and this is what they had to say to our Behindwoods Correspondent.
"Desingu Raja has netted 2.75 crores in the first weekend and this is the best among all Vemal films. The word of mouth for the movie is positive and on an average the opening around Tamil Nadu is in the 60 to 70% range. In Chennai city, the weekend did very good business and the occupancies were in the 80 to 90% range. All screens will be retaining the movie in the second week as well and there might even be some addition in screens. Even overseas markets such as Malaysia and Singapore have seen good business"
