The Vishwaroopam ban case is proceeding at a full pace and the hearing from both the parties was completed by evening. The judgement was earlier expected to be made at 8 pm today. Now we have been informed by reliable sources that the final verdict will be passed at 10 pm today.

The representatives of the TN Government had alleged that the censor certification wasn’t done as per procedure and that the board had violated their rules while censoring the mega budget film. The allegation was immediately washed away as baseless, by advocate Wilson, a representative of the Censor Board.

Wilson supported his statement saying that the board had suggested 14 cuts to be made from the entire film and that the certificate was issued only after the cuts were made accordingly.
