Mallika Sherawat is playing the lead role in a movie titled Dirty Politics, which is based on the life of a murdered Rajasthani nurse by the name Bhanwari Devi. This movie is being directed by K.C.Bokadia. Both of them are receiving threatening calls for doing this film which is based on the controversial 2011 murder of the 36 year old nurse.

Even Mallika’s brother has been threatened asking him to instruct his sister to stay away from this film. The director insists that he has made a clean film though he has been inspired by the Bhanwari Devi case.

But both the actress and director seem unperturbed by all the threatening calls and are eager to present a good film which they can be proud of. Mallika would continue her bold image in this movie as well.
