A victory for director Vijay and GV Prakash

The song, Uyirin Uyire (sung by Saindhavi and Sathya Prakash) from director Vijay’s previous film Thaandavam, starring Vikram, Anushka, Amy Jackson and Jagapathy Babu has won the prestigious MTV-VMAI award for the Best Regional Music Video. The composer of the song, GV Prakash received the award personally.
The young composer, in his social networking page posted, “Thanks to MTV VMA awards for giving me the best video song award (regional) for Thaandavam- Uyirin Uyire. It’s so close to me since Thaandavam is my 25th album! Really happy!”
