Apple chooses Maryan

Apple, one of the world’s most valued brands, has chosen Maryan as the Best Tamil Album of 2013.

As the year comes to a close, organizations across the world are coming out with their own ‘Best of 2013’ lists. Apple has announced its lists of what it believes to be the best of songs, movies, books and apps of the last twelve months. The lists are country specific, and the winners are based on their performance in the local market.

Reacting to the news, A R Rahman tweeted, “Thank you listeners for Maryan being chosen as the ‘Tamil Album of Year’ in iTunes’ Best of 2013.”
