''My brother taught me acting'', Dhanush's candid talk
Jul 21, 2013 'Man of the moment' Dhanush and Maryan's director Bharat Bala, met television viewers in a lively interaction and they were bombarded with a variety of interesting questions by fans, who were eager to get to know the story behind Maryan and also about the other facets of Dhanush.
To a question on who taught him the basics of acting, Dhanush was frank to admit that it was his brother Selvaraghavan who instructed him on how to face the camera without fear and also on the other nuances on emoting.
He also mentioned the names of other directors such as Balu Mahendra, Vetrimaaran and Bharat Bala for teaching him different dimensions of the art. Even directors such as Suraaj, Subramaniam Shiva and Bhoopathy Pandian were credited by Dhanush for instilling fine comedy sense in him.
Ultimately Dhanush confessed that he was just at the right place and right time thanks to God's blessings, for having met all these directors who have molded him into what he is today.
