The qualities of a good actor- Dhanush explains
Aug 10, 2013 Dhanush was recently on a Malayalam channel for a candid interview. When he was asked to explain the qualities of a good actor, the National Award Winner said, “There are three important qualities required to become a good actor. The first one obviously is talent. Secondly, one should put in enough hard work to exploit his talent. Finally, he/she must have immense self belief. If one doesn’t believe in himself/herself, achieving anything will be an issue”.
The Maryan actor also adds that luck will gradually favour the person who has all the other three qualities.
Ask him if these are the qualities that are keeping him on top, he says that he is not interested in being no.1 or no.2 in the industry. “After 30 or 40 years, when people are talking about the best films made in India, I want at least one of my films to be in that list,” hopes Dhanush.
