Dhanush recently confessed that his nature of speaking the truth always has left him with no friends. He admits that he’s left with only 3 or 4 real friends at the moment. He went further by naming them – Guru, a friend from 12^th standard, music director Anirudh and actor Sivakarthikeyan. He added that Sathish, the comedian from Ethir Neechal, too has grown closer to him in recent days.
 

Talking about Sivakarthikeyan Dhanush said that he’s more of a younger brother than a friend and that he admires the way in which he has come up in the industry, purely on merit and hard work. But Dhanush sheepishly wished that if Sivakarthikeyan had remained just a comedian he would have made an extraordinary comic pair with him since they share an amazing chemistry, but went on to add that it would be selfish of him to think so as Sivakarthikeyan has become a hero in his own right now.

For his 30^th birthday which crops up on the 28^th of July, Dhanush is flying his real friends, Sivakarthikeyan, Sathish and Anirudh to London where the actor plans to catch acclaimed musical of The Lion King.
