Talking to Thalaivaa - Event Story

On a balmy Wednesday morning a few members of Behindwoods had arrived at Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s office upon his personal invitation. The agenda of meeting the superstar was to personally greet him for his birthday and wish him the best for his future endeavors, but more importantly it was also to showcase the overwhelming support and goodwill shared by you, the visitors, on the occasion of his birthday.

Dressed very casually in a shirt and a pair of jeans, Vijay emerged out of his main office into the lobby where he greeted the team with a smile and accepted our gifts, 39 red roses and a bottle of the finest champagne. Vijay was at his most approachable and affable best as he treated each Behindwoods member present, to a personal photo with him.

After all the pictures were taken, the star sat down to hear out the Behindwoods members as they elaborated on the site’s specials for his birthday. Vijay also very patiently went through each and every greeting that the site had recorded during his birthday special. The sight of him taking the effort to go through nearly thousand messages, was a sign of a star who respected every single adulation and love he received from his fans.

Vijay finally wrapped up the meeting by saying a huge thanks to his legion of supporters and well wishers who have stood by him all these years. During the meeting’s close, Behindwoods members suggested that Vijay ought to pop open the champagne during the success of Thalaivaa and enjoy it with his close group.

In the end, as much as it was memorable for the Behindwoods staff, we assume it was equally special for Vijay for he could feel the warmth of the affection that had been pouring in over the last week.
