Pattathu Yaanai: Vishal thanks Arya! - Event Story

The trailer and audio launch of the Vishal - Aishwarya Arjun movie Pattathu Yaanai was held at Prasad Studios, Chennai on 23rd June 2013. The event saw attendance from producer Michael Rayappan, Arya, Vishal, Aishwarya Arjun, producer KR, director Bhoopathy Pandian, lyricist Na Muthukumar and other technicians who were part of the movie.

Thaman, who has scored for the movie, said that Bhoopathy Pandian is knowledgeable enough to compose for a film. This is Thaman's first collaboration with Bhoopathy Pandian. Whilst on the other hand, it is the fifth film for Na. Muthukumar with Bhoopathy, who shares the lyrics credits along with Sarathy and Annamalai.

KR in his address mentioned that it's difficult to find Arjun attending such events and that it is heartening to see Aishwarya Arjun present at the audio launch. "I think it is the influence of her mother. It is good to see that," he opined. Producer Michael Rayappan, whose Global Infotainment produces the movie, mentioned that this is his most expensive movie by far.

Vishal said that the seed for this movie was sown during the shooting of the film Malaikottai. "I was impressed by the story and asked Bhoopathy to find a producer," he added. Vishal wished Bhoopathy made more movies. He also thanked Arya for attending the event.

The audio was released by Arya and received by KR. Pattathu Yaanai is scheduled for a year-end release.
