Vetri Maaran wants the same girl for Dhanush ?
Apr 04, 2013 Just as Dhanush’s Mariyaan is kicking up a storm with its teasers, it seems almost confirmed that he will work with Vetri Maaran again. The heroine of the film could well be Ashritha Shetty who debuts in Udhayam NH4, incidentally a film written by Vetri Maaran himself.The young heroine admits that she has been informed by Vetri Maaran that he plans to cast her but she’s still keeping her fingers crossed as nothing has been confirmed yet.
Ashritha was first noticed by Vetri Maaran through a Fresh Face contest held by a leading daily. This prompted him to cast her opposite Siddharth in Udhayam NH4 which is being directed by his former assistant, Manimaran.
