The announcement of Thalaivaa’s release may have come as a relief to the producers and the unit but the news has literally sparked off celebrations online ahead of the film’s Tuesday release.

Gayathri Raghuram, who choreographed a song in Thalaivaa said “Thank you to all Vijay sir fans for your love and support. Keep supporting. My love to all well wishers. Let's make it a big success. Show our love in return to actor Vijay sir and team.”

Thalaivaa’s heroine, Amala Paul breathed easy when the news came in as she said “All the waiting is over. God is kind.”  The film’s composer G.V. Prakash too expressed his thanks to all those who supported the cause.

But during the tough times the Thalaivaa team had received unconditional support from many quarters of the industry. Some of them rejoiced when they heard that Thalaivaa would finally arrive in TN on 20^th August.

Cloud 9 head honcho Dhayanidhi Alagiri said “I'm really happy that I made an effort to support Thalaivaa. Vijay fans, you guys are superb and just one more job to be done which is to make this movie a big success.”

Composer Anirudh and Director Venkat Prabhu both expressed their excitement to catch the film as soon as it releases.
