The official word on Jananathan's next is out now. The Arya - Vijay Sethupathy starrer is titled Purampokku, as informed by us earlier, and will be produced by UTV Motion Pictures. The quirky titled movie will see an interesting star cast of Arya, the new commercially bankable star on the block and Vijay Sethupathy, the poster boy of small budget, success stories in Tamil, coming together for the first time. A press release to this effect is released announcing the movie's commencement.

According to Jananathan, the movie will focus on the land grabbing / encroachment carried out by the real estate sector. The movie is touted to have international artists including stunt masters and technicians. Cinematography is by Ekambaram and editing by VT Vijayan. Purampokku will be shot extensively in India in places such as Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Andhra apart from Chennai. The movie will go on floors in October and will be released in April 2014 according to the press release.
