Police's request to Vijay fans
Aug 08, 2013With the decks fast clearing for the release of Thalaivaa tomorrow, the Police force in the city are making all possible arrangements to make sure that any untoward incidents don't occur at the theaters which will be screening Thalaivaa. Security is expected to be beefed up at all theaters, given the issues over the past few days.
The Police has requested Vijay's fans to avoid banners, hoardings and cutouts but given the love that fans have for their star, avoidance of banners and cutouts is highly doubtful. Expect theaters to wear a festive look with countless banners decorated by garlands and flowers. Other rituals such as milk 'abhishekam' and beer 'abhishekam' will also probably happen.
Generally, Vijay fans have a unique habit of bringing their star's latest release print in a chariot to a prominent theater. This time for Thalaivaa, they have chose Udhayam theater for this little ceremony.
The Police are generally keeping themselves aware of all the grand plans that Vijay's fans are making, towards the release. The excitement in the air is apparent.
