Thalaivaa pushes Vimal back
Aug 08, 2013The release of Ezhil's Desingu Raja, starring Vimal and Bindu Madhavi, has been postponed to August 23, after initially eyeing the August 15th slot. The reason being speculated is the shortage of screens across the state with Thalaivaa holding fort at majority of the centers for the next 2 weeks, starting tomorrow.
23rd will be a good day for Desingu Raja to release, what with a two weeks clear run before biggies such as Madha Gaja Raja and Biriyani arrive on September 6 for Vinayaga Chathurthi.
This will be Vimal's widest release, in close to 350 screens and a comedy feast has been promised by distributor Escape Artistes' Madan and director Ezhil.
