The team of Megha, led by director Karthick Rishi, is literally on cloud nine after receiving a pat on the back from music maestro Ilaiyaraja. The unit had screened the movie to the legendary composer yesterday (10th June 2013) and had supposedly won praises from him. Ilaiyaraja has reportedly told the team that the project will require a background score that will be fitting for the visuals and is considering doing the re-recording in London for this movie.

Megha is tipped to be a special Ilaiyaraja musical which will feature a revived version of his yesteryear classic ‘Putham Puthu Kaalai’. The composer was also impressed with the way all his songs were picturized. Megha is supposedly a romantic thriller that stars Mankatha fame Ashwin K and Shrushti Dange in the lead with the likes of Jayaprakash, Ravi Prakash, Naren, Meera and Nithya playing supporting roles.
