Ilayaraja reuses his classic song !

Music maestro Ilayaraja’s songs are rendered to be timeless and yet another one of his classic compositions will prove to weather the test of time. ‘Putham Pudhu Kalai’, a song composed for Bharathiraja’s Alaigal Oivathillai has been re-recorded and used for an upcoming film titled Megha, for which Ilayaraja has delivered the soundtrack.
The original song sung by Janaki was not used by Bharathiraja in the film. Karthik Rishi, the director of Megha, was quick to pounce on the opportunity to use the song in his film and the legendary composer too was convinced of its place in the film. The latest version of the track features the voice of Super Singer fame Anitha.
Megha is an urban romance drama that stars Ashwin K and Shrushti in the lead.
