After chipping in with the background score for Anurag Kashyap’s epic Gangs of Wasseypur, music director G.V. Prakash has earned himself the opportunity to extend his full services for Anurag Kashyap’s upcoming film titled ‘Ugly’.

The young composer has spoken to Behindwoods and expressed his excitement over the project. He said that in the recent past he has been gifted with opportunity to work on challenging subjects such as Bharathiraja’s Annakodiyum Kodiveeranum and Bala’s Paradesi which is set in pre-independence India.

But G.V says that Ugly will be a different proposition altogether since it’s a gritty gangster flick. He has completed the songs and is now working on the background score for the film. Ugly stars newcomer Siddhanth along with Tejaswini Kolhapure, Ronit Roy and Pallavi Sharda.
