Peenics Creations Pvt. Ltd. is currently producing the film Vu, directed by debutant Ashiq. Likewise, there is another film currently under production by a different entity with the title Woo.

There seems to be a confusion risen out of the two titles since the Tamil spelling for both the films are the same. The team at Peenics are proposing to show evidence that they were indeed the first to register the title for their film that stars Thambi Ramaiah.

Woo’s director Jayaprakash says that the title is a reference to the popular symbol of Pillaiyar suzhi and also indicates his first attempt. The film carries a tagline ‘who’ suggesting that it is a thriller. The film stars Richard Rishi and Vidhya.

Peenics Creations are exploring all the legal options to obtain the sole usage of the title.
