Anushka has said that Bhumika’s husband Bharat Thakur is responsible for her entry to filmdom. Bharat happens to be Anushka's guru in Yoga and she had planned to turn into a full-time yoga teacher after learning the nuances. However, fate had other plans for Anushka when a director from Tollywood joined her yoga class and persuaded her to don the greasepaint.
The actress says that though she her plan was to remain a yoga teacher, she was bitten by the acting bug and once she faced the arc lights there was no looking back. Anushka also credits yoga and a healthy lifestyle for her svelte figure and glowing face.
