Breaking : Thalaivaa unlikely to release tomorrow...

The negotiations concerned with the release of Thalaivaa does not seem have brought fruit.

The past 24 hours have been really stressful for all parties concerned as the release of the movie was in the doldrums following violent threats from miscreants, to prominent theaters in the city. Few confusions over some of the scenes and dialogues in the movie might have played a part in these threats and commotion, according to our sources.

Entertainment Tax exemption issues are also cited, following a screening to the relevant Tamil Nadu Government officials. However, the screening did not bring a resolution.

Director Vijay, actor Vijay and the producer have apparently attempted to meet the Chief Minister of the state, Dr.J.Jayalalitha in Ooty. However, its being said that they were unable to meet her either. There is a final meet at the Film Chamber between the producer, distributors and the theater owners currently going on from 7 PM to discuss on the issue.

The theatre owners have decided to wait until 8 PM for a final confirmation. Apart from a press note yesterday morning from actor Vijay clarifying that the movie is a clean family entertainer and apolitical, there has not been any official press release yet from Team Thalaivaa.
