SP Jananathan, who directed Peranmai with Jayam Ravi in the lead, is back as a writer. He has penned the dialogues for his assistant, Kalyana Krishnan’s maiden project, Boologam. The film stars Jayam Ravi and Trisha in the lead.

The film is a true story of a real boxer who lived in North Madras aka ‘Vada Chennai’, years ago. Jananathan, while talking to Behindwoods, disclosed that he did the favour of writing the dialogues, in gratitude to Kalyana Krishnan’s big contribution as an Assistant Director, in his growth as a director.

“I was also a great fan of the legendary boxer, Mohammad Ali. I used to watch all his bouts. That helped me in writing the dialogue more authentically,” added Jananathan.
