Jayam Ravi is looking forward to 2013 as the year of his image makeover. He will be seen in gritty-action films this year like Ameer’s Aadhi Bhagavan and Samuthirakani’s Nimirndhu Nil. The other big project up his sleeve is Aascar Films’ Bhoologam, where he’ll be seen playing a boxer from North Madras.

The director, N. Kalyanakrishnan, has roped in a tough looking cast that includes Arpit Ranga, Shanmugarajan and Ponvannan who will be playing boxers in the movie, with the added attraction of ‘Troy’ fame Nathan Jones who will add the final punch to this film.

Stunts are by Miracle Michael who’s worked in Rajini’s Kochadaiyaan. V.T. Vijayan is the editor and SR. Sathish Kumar of Peraanmai fame will be the cameraman. Srikanth Deva will try to recreate the sounds and cultures of North Madras with his music. Trisha will reportedly play a unqiue role and the team is confident that Prakash Raj’s character will be spoken about long after the movie’s release.
