While Rani Mukherji is trying very hard to win the attention of the audience with her quirky new film Aiiyaa, it’s her brother who is making all the headlines for wrong reasons. Raja Mukherji, this morning was reported to have been arrested and sent to Andheri jail on grounds of molestation.
The series of events are still hazy at the moment but a section of the media claims that the victim was a young TV starlet who had supposedly approached him to propose a script for Rani during which he allegedly misbehaved with her in the car. Raja Mukherji is a small time producer who was also planning to direct his own film shortly.
Raja has been booked under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code and will be produced in court today.
