One of Indian cinema's biggest stars Kamal Haasan has already pledged his organs for donation and later his Unnai Pol Oruvan co-star Mohanlal also expressed his desire to donate his organs. Now the Nadigar Sangam President, Sarath Kumar, has also revealed that he has already pledged his organs for donation to a home in Guruvayoor one year back.
He had kept this low key and never publicized it until recently during a press meet for his upcoming release Chennaiyil Oru Naal. He had not even told people at his home about this. He deemed it apt to reveal this information at the press meet of this movie which touches upon organ donation.
Chennaiyil Oru Naal is the remake of the hit Malayalam movie Traffic and it is all about how a gory accident brings together people from different walks of life. Sarath plays a cop in this film and it also features his wife Radhika, Prakash Raj, Prasanna among others.
