Dileepan who starred as Prassana’s friend in Azhagiya Theeye breathed his last yesterday. He had featured as one of the five leads in Sinthanai Sei. Most recently he played hero’s role in Sembattai.
Dileepan had been suffering from a serious illness and was reportedly taken to a hospital in Madurai for treatment. But his condition was said to have gone from bad to worse and ultimately led to his demise. He was just 32. His body has been taken to his native village near Pattukottai where the last rites will be held.
Dileepan came to Chennai with aspirations to enter the cinema industry. He became a student of the Koothu Pattarai and got a few opportunities in the tinsel town.
