AR Reihana, sister of AR Rahman and mother of GV Prakash is going to make her debut as a music director for the Malayalam film, Manchotile Veedu directed by Sukumaran. Reihana is an RJ on a popular FM and has also established herself as a playback singer with hits like Mallai Mallai (Chocolate), Parthale Paravasan (Parthale Paravasam), and Kedakkari (Ravanan).
Incidentally, Reihana's father RK Sekhar was a music director in Malayalam movies way back in the 70s. There is no denying that the gift of music is in her blood and Reihana is hoping to make the most of the opportunity she has received.
