It was initially said that ace cameraman Nirav Shah would crank the camera for Udayanidhi’s debut venture Oru Kal Oru Kannadi, to be directed by Rajesh. The film’s shooting was postponed from March first week to the end of the month following his inability to join the team at the time. But eventually, Nirav opted out of OK OK as he is still busy with his current projects.
This led to Udayanidhi and Rajesh trying to rope in Shakthi Saravanan. However, it so turned out that he is also tied up with the Ajith starrer Mankatha and has said ‘no’ to OK OK.
With Nirav and Shakthi Saravanan opting out of OK OK, Balasubramaniam has been approached with the offer and an official announcement on him joining the unit is expected soon.
