The biggest Bollywood hit of the year 2010 Dabangg is all set to be remade in Tamil. The film starring Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha was a blockbuster which raked the box office with a collection of 300 crores. The remake rights has been brought by Balaji Studios' Mohan Apparao and T.Ramesh for a whopping price amidst tight competition. It is said that the producers are planning to rope in a leading hero, heroine and director to make this film. Speculations are that the film will go on floors by the mid-2011 once the cast and crew are finalized. Watch this space for more and lets see if the Tamil version beats the records of the Hindi version.
