Director Hari is busy shooting Vengai in Karaikudi, Thenkasi and Kuttralam areas. Though intermittent rains have been lashing out in these areas, the director is enthusiastically filming the shots. The producer of Vengai, Venkatrama Reddy of Vijaya Productions, is happy that Hari is not wasting a single day of the schedule and is cleverly filming sequences paying no heed to the rains.
Dhanush, Tammannah, Raj Kiran, Kalabhavan Mani, Livingstone, Ponvannan, Ganja Karuppu, YG Mahendran, Oorvasi, Charlie and several others in the star cast are in awe with the way Hari is capturing the shots while many directors would have called off the shooting until the rain stops.
Vettri is doing a good job too by cranking the camera. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music for the lyrics penned by Na Muthu Kumar and Viveka.
