Kiran Rao is proving to be nowhere far from her hubby’s tactics of promoting the films. Her debut directorial ‘Dhobi Ghat’ was screened at several international film festivals and gained appreciations. The film’s theatrical release is scheduled on January 21, 2011 and the auteur has found a special way to promote her product.
Radically distinctive in her thoughts, she has started sending handwritten postcard of invitation for screening to media channels. The postcard has a brief description of Mumbai’s Dhobi Ghat and her experience with this city.
