After the uneasy stalemate that culminated in very tense moments yesterday, labor minister Chellapandian held separate talks with representatives of the Producers' Council and FEFSI. It is learnt that the minister disapproved of the continuing strike and recommended to call it off and continue with dialogues without disrupting the shooting of films.
Following this request from the Minister, FEFSI has decided to join shooting duties from tomorrow. However, the issues between FEFSI and the Producers' Council still persist as wage restructuring of at least 8 unions of FEFSI is still pending. It is expected that talks on thesse issues will be held soon, without any of this affecting the shooting schedules.
