Shiva is on a roll and how. His Sonna Puriyathu garnered decent box office success and Ya Ya shows a lot of promise. If you ask for more, we have one answer. There is Santhanam in it. If you still need more reasons to watch Ya Ya, Shiva has these things to say.

1. According to Shiva, he plays Dhoni and Santhanam plays Sehwag like they are for the Indian team – metaphorically speaking.

2. The fun begins with the naming of the cast, Shiva is Ramarajan (because, his mother is Ramarajan fan) and Santhanam is Rajkiran (that is because his dad in the film is a Rajkiran fan). Not to mention, Shiva’s cousin (Atha Ponnu) is Kanaga because she wants to get married to him at any cost. Are you laughing yet?

3. Shiva says that he and Santhanam have their own gangs in the film – “We begin as enemies and end up as best friends…and we have a rocking combination together.”

4. You might know this already but Shiva insists that you should never look for logic in his films. “Our main aim is to make everyone laugh.”

5. Powerstar has done a powerful role playing the role of a professional actor in the film and he is part of a big theater group. He also conducts fashion shows and roams around in posh designer wears. He teaches the lead men acting in the film.

6. Also, there are two heroines - Sandhya and Dhansika – apart from the bunch of talented actors like Devadharshini and Ilavarasu in the movie.
