TAMIL MOVIE RELEASE EXPECTATION

If you want to laugh your lungs out just to do away from the stress, you have the Powerstar starrer Summa Nachunu Iruku releasing this Friday, 30^th August. Directed by A Venkatesh and produced by Esthell Entertailments, the film stars Powerstar Srinivasan, Thaman Kumar, Vibha Natarajan, Thambi Ramaiah and Appu Kutty in prominent roles. Director A Venkatesh talks to Behindwoods correspondent about the highlights of the film. Excerpts:

 “Summa Nachunu Iruku is an out and out comedy. We have just made this film to make every one laugh for 2 and a half hours.”

“I believe this film has exploited Powerstar better than Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiyaa. He is cracker in the song, Ninaithadhai Mudippavan, where he has danced like Simbu, Vijay and Dhanush.”

“We have also created a parody of some of the most remembered scenes of our top heroes. You will get to watch how those scenes would have looked like if Powerstar had performed in it.”

“There’s a spectacular chase sequence in the film. We had shot that in Malaysia. This sequence would be the most hilarious part of the film. Personally, I wish to call this sequence, ‘the Sirippu chase’.”

“I have been an action film director all along and this is my full length comedy project. For the first time, I have also acted under my own direction.”
