Is Vijay playing a cop in Jilla or ... ?

A few media houses have been reporting that Ilayathalapathy Vijay might be playing a cop's role in Jilla, following a similar role in Pokkiri in 2007. We decided to investigate whether such reports are true.

It turns out that Jilla is actually a college based entertainer and the reports that Vijay is playing a cop are mere rumors. Recently, some scenes were shot in the Avadi Police Camp with comedian Brahmanandam playing a trainer. These scenes are part of the film's comedy quotient and are expected to be hilarious. Details about the plot aren't being revealed by the team, as expected.

Jilla is eyeing a Pongal 2014 release and it might lock horns with the Ajith - Siva movie. Kajal Agarwal, Mohanlal, Mahat, Vidyu Raman and Soori are also part of the cast.
