Seenu Ramasamy’s Neerparavai effectively juxtaposed the political scenario that affects the fishermen in the seas between India and Srilanka with a simple love story. Plaudits to the director for showcasing the evils of alcoholism, the anguish of minority community and the practices ingrained in the lives of fishing tribe.  Balasubramaniem’s camera and Raghunandan’s music were also the major highpoints of the film.
