A.R. Rahman’s stupendous soundtrack had the entire public dancing to the film’s tunes before the film came out. The film promised to be a double treat as Vijay would be seen in a dual role for the first time. The film after release saw stiff competiton from Suriya-Hari combo’s Vel and Dhanush-Vettrimaran combo’s Polladhavan.
