The first look of Mariyaan, the Dhanush starrer under Bharat Bala production was released earlier today. The film has music by A.R.Rahman and also stars Parvathi Menon and Appukutty in important roles. The film is expected to hit screens in 2013.
Going by the first look images, Dhanush sports a look of a site-worker on a foreign land. Certain stills indicate the emotional hardships of someone being separated from the comfort and the care of home and family. The film was reportedly shot in parts of Africa.
Bharat Bala is known for his association with A.R.Rahman and for producing notable projects like Vande Matharam and more recently the official video song of 2010 Commonwealth Games.
