Having been commemorated with such a name, this is a genuine folk song that'll evoke the dancer in you with tongues folded and the collar on the rise. The more than usual fast paced tape beats and trumpet coincide with the rhyme scheme of the native lyrics and the hook tune 'Maari' influences major portion of the composition. The heavy bass loops in the background are some new-found plugins creating newness.

Vineeth Srinivasan lends his voice for this retro number. The guitar patches and heavy strokes on the bass guitar give a jazzed up, Rock n Roll track with interesting breakdowns by enterprising rudiments. The piano and violin interludes are praiseworthy efforts. Poetu Dhanush is in full form here.

Alisha's tripping voice for a folkish- R n B song. The harmonies, some different sounding electronic music and especially the rap portions are a delight. Simple interludes and the clear-cut structure of the song is a major plus.

A symphonic arrangement for a pulsating folk song? A minute long cut-song, preferably used for a build-up. A new-age saavu melam is ready. Though Urumi being over-used by Anirudh, the string sessions are a definite change to the genre. 

The title track with a tweaked voice and over-powering chords are sure to bring roofs down.

Another accessible light-folk song composed in a wink. The uniformity in the rhythms and the over-utilized nadhaswaram might sound familiar.
