Director Atlee’s first film was Raja Rani and the young talented man had got the opportunity to direct Ilayathalapathy Vijay for his very second film Theri. The film has completed shooting and is in its brisk post-production phase now.
The latest information from sources is that Atlee will be turning a co-producer for a project along with Fox Star. This project is said to feature Jiiva and Sri Divya as the leads. Sources also state that this film will be directed by one of Kamal Haasan’s assistants for whom it will be a debut venture. Sathyan Sooryan, the cinematographer of Maya will be the man behind the lens and Lalgudi Ilayaraja will be the art director. A very popular music director is expected to join the film. The shooting for this film is slated to begin this week.
