ATLEE’S NEW AVATAR

Children of previous generations would have played a game with verses “sangili bunglee kadhava thora, naa maatten vengala puli” and the present generation would have heard the same in Kanchana where Lawrence danced quite energetically for the peppy number.

Now this phrase Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae becomes the title of a new film to be directed by newcomer Ike and produced by director Atlee for whom this will be his maiden production venture under his banner ‘A for Apple’ company. This film will have Jiiva and Sri Divya as the leads supported by Soori and Ilavarasu. It is also rumored that Atlee might play a cameo in this film.

An excited Ike shares his happiness through his tweet, “Happy to announce the title of my directorial debut #SangiliBungiliKathavaThorae @Actorjiiva produced by@Atlee_dir”.
