RAJATHANDIRAM ACTOR’S NEW ROLE

Darbuka Siva is a well known name in the independent music circuit who also made his presence felt in Amid’s Rajathandhiram as an actor. This talented artist will be debuting as the music composer for Sasikumar’s next film that would be helmed by debutant Prasad.  Siva tells behindwoods about his debut film.

“Prasad had worked as an EP in Rajathandhiram and that’s how we became friends. Both of us have a lot of common interests. After Rajathandhiram, he was discussing a script with me and wondered if I could be in it as a music composer. Till then, I never had ideas to score music for feature films. I was a little apprehensive, but Prasad had more confidence in me. That’s how I am in this project. I had a chat with Sasikumar sir too. Before I met him, Prasad had played two of my songs and he had liked it. I also know DoP Kathir from Rajathandhiram and hence the comfort levels with the team are good.

We have started work on composing. I am happy that I landed on this as my first project. I will be working in my comfort zone as folk sound is something that is right down my alley”.

Darbuka Siva will also be seen in the sequel of Rajathandhiram.
