BREAK FOR NADIGAR SANGAM ELECTIONS!

Vetrivel featuring Sasikumar is directed by Vasantha Mani who had apprenticed with Neason in Jilla. This film has Sasikumar in the lead supported by Prabhu, Thambi Ramaiah, Renuka, Vijee and others. Imman scores music while Kathir handles camera.

The film went on floors on the 17^th September at Tanjore and has reportedly completed its first, month long schedule. Sources say that the team had planned to shoot till 23^rd but since the artists had to vote for the Nadigar Sangam elections, the schedule is cut short by a few days.

Meanwhile Sasikumar will complete his dubbing for Thara Thappattai and the second schedule of Vetrivel will reportedly begin again at Tanjore, after Sasikumar is done with his dubbing for Bala film.

Reports suggest that Vetrivel has completed almost 70% of the shoot with just the climax segment, song sequences and a small portion left to be wrapped up. The film is expected to be completed in November and released in January 2016.
